SMO to reach potential Customer
Do you have a social media account? We bet you have. We use social media to send photos to friends, to let our family know what we are up to or just chat with our loved ones. Social media has become so common in our day-to-day life that we find our phone first thing in the morning.
It's not only limited to our personal life but also we use social media to market a business. Business post their regular updates on social media to let their customer informed. There are hardly any business which doesn’t have any social media handles. Social media is used to create the awareness about the product and services that the business offers. In a nutshell, social media is used to get in touch with the customers and build a connection with them.
You can also do the same with your customers. There are social media like Facebook, Instagram & YouTube, which is used by a vast audience daily. Hence, it is a way to reach out to a target audience easily through these platforms. There are billions of user using the Facebook daily. And Facebook is having all the user’s data which can be leveraged for commercial purpose if used properly.
Facebook is not the only social media that makes us to reach out to our target audience. YouTube is the #2 search engine after Google and it gets over billion views per day. If a business presents a great overview of its product or service on YouTube in a video format, then it can definitely stand out from the competition and get customers.
Why SMO is required?
"If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?” You may have the best product in the world in your field. But if the crowd doesn’t get to know about the product, how the product will get sold?. You might have built a great product. But that needs to be reached out to the audience. To let your audience know about your product, you need to market it extensively. And social media is the perfect way to market your business. Marketing is one pillar of a strong business. Businesses fail because of bad marketing of the product and completely relying upon sales.
